Yikes! Raptors are at .500 again! Although, I still have problems with figuring out what team we actually beat. They were dressed as Pistons, but hard to recognize - I got used to the fact, that there's no Billups, I even got over lack of Sheed, but without Rip and Tay - they didn't look like Pistons anymore.
Well, I'll take the win anyways and everything what comes with it. Bargnani with 12 rebounds? In ONE game? Wow. Also, the play of our bench was great. I've been a huge apologist for Jose, but it was when he still had his Midas touch to change every possession into 'never-miss' shot or an assist. Now, it seems, the Fairy Godmother got pissed of his lack of defense and took these skills away, too. Our second unit guard and wings defend better, assist better (Jarrett no-look-pass for Bargnani's dunk, delicious!), run better. Jack's shot still isn't the best but I'll take 3-8 with 6 assists over 4-11 with 1 assist everyday. Toine Wright and Marco Bellinelli are the icing on cake. I'm beginning to believe, that we should start JJ over Jose.
Ballin': the lineup of Bargnani, Bosh, Wright, Bellinelli, Jack. Suckin': Jose.
Of course, the glass is only half full, because the Yankees won the championship. I don't know what was more disturbing during the World Series - Ryan Howard's game, Jeter's smirk or the fact, that you cannot call A-Rod a choker anymore.
Also, I'm slowly recovering from the flu. HUMAN flu, mind me! Do I look like a pig for you? Look, we all know, that flu is a bitch - it killed more people than Black Death, cholera and Stalin combined. It comes every year, when it gets cold, mutates, and plays natural selector. Even without calling it a swine flu and making people panic. In my case it also triggered my migraine, brrr. See, with a flu, migraine, Raps losing to the Grizzlies in the first week and Yankees being the World Champs - do I really need more reasons to panic?
Talking about panic - they made this stupid Viagra commercial. Woman complains about her hubby watching too much sports, until he got Viagra - then his sports... disappeared! Man, if my hubby notices this advert, I won't be safe to take any drink or food from him!
